What it's like to work with us
We're an extremely approachable, down to earth and fun team. We pride ourselves on being inclusive and collaborative. Pensions is a complex, challenging area of law, so it's important that we support each other to give our clients the best possible advice.
New joiners are given all the help and support they need to adapt to the team, with a buddy system for more junior members of staff and close partner support for more experienced lawyers. The office is open plan and everyone is encouraged to work collaboratively. You'll often find small groups meeting for coffee in our canteens or working on the sofas in our break out areas.
Our internal team training is second to none. We meet on a weekly basis for an hour of training, with regular opportunities to share know-how and ideas through special interest groups. If you haven't seen a problem or query before, a quick email around the team almost always leads to an answer and some friendly help or advice.
We're also a very sociable team. After all, there's only so much pensions law anyone can take! The team regularly gets together for lunch, drinks and after work events – which include everything from ping-pong to zorb football and karaoke to curry.
