Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are a great alternative to university. Our paralegal and business services apprenticeships are open for applications from those who are in the final year of A Levels (or equivalent) or have completed their A Levels (or equivalent).
Training Contracts
Gowling WLG recruits 25 trainees annually, across its Birmingham and London offices, who are undergraduates or graduates. Trainees complete a 2-year training contract, spending 6 months in 4 different legal teams.
Vacation Schemes
We know how important it is to get some hands-on experience and find out whether we are the right firm for you. We run vacation schemes in the spring and summer in our Birmingham and London offices.
School Work Experience

Are you interested in our business services or legal apprenticeship?

Business services
The business services apprenticeship is a 12-month, City & Guilds accredited programme, during which you will gain experience in 2 of our business services teams, which include HR, Business Development, IT and Finance.
Legal
The paralegal apprenticeship is a 2-year programme, which offers hands-on, practical experience of life as a lawyer and also incorporates CILEx training in law and legal practice.
